Andy: Yes. That section (and the related figure) is a brief description of IM about functional aspects. What I need is more information about electrical levels. Since the LMC is intended for a 9V supply, I think that a direct connection to the 8051 (5V) might damage the MCU. I'll try the link to micronas.de in the next minutes.
