From the datasheet the MSC121x takes 8.55 nJ per instruction.
DVDD = 3V, Normal Mode, fOSC = 8MHz, 4 Clocks per Instruction Cycle, peripherals OFF: 5.7 mA (3V * 5.7mA) / (8MHz / 4) = 8.55 nJ / instr. And the SiLabs C8051F020 datasheet says: CPU active, VDD=2.7 V, Clock=1 MHz, 1 or 2 system clocks per instruction: 0.5 mA (2.7V * 0.5mA) / (1MHz / 1) = 1.35 nJ / instr. |
