nope, I did not, what I posted was that using Philips appnote code (which is NOT "RTC code" but general IIC) and do some work would be better. How do you know he is graduating from some college? if, indeed, he is not at college he should be capable of posting his code and ask specific questions (well, if at college he should too). The "give me the code" posts are 99% college cheaters posting, if not, but an industrial project, I expect to be paid for providing complete code (not "helping a bit"). If he is an amateur, see last paragraph in this post. Implementing that in Asm is also not an easy task for a newbie , he will be lost in the Display and RTC procedures unless he studies everything properly . That IS the point. If you give him the code he will never "study everything properly" and be equally as much a newbie after turning in the project. Erik |
