Then there is the new 1-wire interface that talks to Intel's newest CPUs. Maxim has a device to bridge this interface to the I2C interface protocol:

Cypress and Winbond also make parts that provide these interfaces. As far as I know detailed information regarding the specifications would require a special confidential relationship with Intel.

There is this other 1-wire interface supported by some vendors including Analog Devices and Intel called SST.

SST Specifications can be requested from Analog Devices by special request and may also be available from Intel in a similar manner.

Note that PECI is a subset of SST with some specifications modified for the CPU specific interfaces.
