Hi,
I´m just programming Philips PCF8583. It has an I2C bus (offers you a great choice of other peripherals, such as port drivers, Ram, EEprom, AV stuff) different timer, counter, alarm modes, a 4 year calendar and can be backed up by battery or goldcap condensers. 8 pin. I like it. Anyway one distributor told me that Philips is about to discontinue that chip but one guy at Philips told me that they weren´t. Karsten |
