Here's a Video of the GSM based tracking system. This is a trial system with the 8051 working off a development board. The operator name is displayed along with the cellID. If the cellID matches a location previously stored in the data base it is displayed and sent as an sms to a hard coded mobile number. If it doesn't match, only the cellID is sent as an SMS. I've put in a timer loop so that the whole sequence repeats itself every 2 minutes. The time duration is customizable. Find the video at: http://www.sriram.5gigs.com/gsm_srt.avi
The file is encoded with Xvid and MP3 codecs. So if you are missing the video/audio/both, I recommend that you install a codec pack like KLcodec pack or a player like VLC player.
