dear mr.andy neil,
thanks for ur advices. i shall take care to implement them the next time. my references for rtc are: 1.datsheet, 2.the 8051 micro controller in assembly and c ..by mazidi & mazidi. according to which ->XBYTE instruction can be perfectly used in the context of this rtc. and i neither have any idea about "_at_!" nor how to use it. please tell me where i can find information related to it and i can use it in my program. how ever, i shall try my program on a new rtc and verify my code. |
