#151675 - Sorry, It's copyright
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Jecksons,

Thanks very much for your interest in the C328R JPEG Colour Camera software module, and also in an interface circuit.

COMedia do distribute a circuit diagram with their camera development board and software. Unfortunately it's copyright so I can't distribute it without permission.

Two solutions exist. Try COMedia and ask them for a copy of the 'EV328' C328 EV board circuit diagram. They may just give it to you.

The other possibility is just to knock one up yourself. I can tell you that it's based on a MAX3232CUE RS232 level converter chip, an XC6203E332 3.3V regulator, and that it's a very simple circuit. The camera comes with a pinout diagram and flying lead connector, so it wouldn't be difficult to wire up.

Keep an eye out for an update to the camera software module in the next couple of weeks. The Serial port now runs at 38400 bps, and there are more options for snapshot image format.

The IP camera project that the module was written for won't be ready until late June or early July (school). You may have to temporarily satisfy my Diet Coke addiction to get a copy of that one, though.

Regards,
Murray R. Van Luyn.
