All Philips/NXP was able to produce for the 'V' series was a half-decent datasheet and a "migration" document (which the last time I looked still contained some errors); not to mention the "cloud" of appnotes and alike. Oh yes, they certainly did not forget to make the glossy salesware, but that's mostly irrelevant for our case, isn't it. And, all this said, it was enough to point to the fact that the 'V' is THE SAME chip as SST's xxxx (I never remember the number), for which and there ARE examples, appnotes etc. at SST's site. Or, for that matter, they could include takeover of this "exampleware" to their deal with SST. It seems for me that Philips's/NXP's pride prevailed this time. JW |
