But how can one even begin to just give up, hands down, when the code is not even giving the appearance of being correct!!
To base ones success at producing embedded hardware based only on the success of cutting and pasting sample code is a sad state of affairs. One needs to always make some sense out of the stuff we "paste" to ensure that there is a reasonable chance of success. The thing that bothered me was that Scott appeared to just give up on NXP and switch over to some other part without even trying to see that the code he showed has some problems.....at least as far as I can see.
