How do you know that its output has not changed - how have you measured it?

If you're using a meter (analogue or digital) it will probably be averaging its reading...

You need to ensure that your measurement has at least the same resolution as your software...

Look carefully for noise...

data displayed on lcd changes every time conversion process is started.

This could be due to:
  • the ADC output actually changing (see above);
  • your software mis-reading the ADC;
  • a problem in your display software;
    or a combination of the above

    Are the changes related to anything else in your system; eg, if you remove the stepper motor and/or keypad, does it settle down?
    If that does fix it, you need to determine whether it's software corrupting the data internally, and/or electrical interference occurring externally...
