what you say is correct but dont you think that the products made for defence and aircraft and other high ended application use MILTARY grade components which are capable of extreme conditions of temperature, pressure, altitude, EMI and lot many parameters.
If I am not mistaken your answer means that the watch dog timer should change over the relay to 2nd controller at failure condition. But there should be a program written for that or how do i implement. I thank you for showing interest in this.
