It just takes the font installed on your Windows © PC and creates a C file representing that font for your embedded software.

I forgot the place (am working from home and did not bring everything) thanx, Michael.

One issue:
depending on the layout of your LED boards you may have to write a procram that converts "horizontal fonts" to "vertical fonts" (not a huge task, I have done it in a '51)
