Even if you let their code in to the embedded system imagine the support nightmare. It would be worse that Jack Nicholson in "The Shining".

Imagine the conflict if the user wants to use an interrupt.

Imagine they mistakenly clear an SFR bit.

Imagine they make a loop and the watchdog trips.
