#155673 - File transfer Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,
Thanks for the inputs..my mistake..by serial i meant RS232..was not sure if 8051 has an ethernet port to receive the file... Well i have to have a JBC file (binary format) which has to be sent to 8051 through a CAN controller. the 8051 will have a JAM STAPL player, which will accept this jbc file and convert it and drive the JTAG port to program the CPLD... am not sure how to execute the player from my PC (exectue whnever i want to program the PC). hence this file conversion can not be done by a PC as the player has to be residing in 8051 (which is in the field). |
