#155697 - File Transfer Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The 8051 will be on the PCB containing the CPLD to be programmed. Since a CAN network is already available, i would like to use it to send the file to MCS'51. Wanted to confirm if an Binary file can be sent and stored on the RAM of MCS'51. Seondly, how do i itimate the JAM player that a file has been sent and it needs to be executed.
As far as RS232 is concerned, the distance from PC to MCS will be large(more than 50 feet) as hence RS232 will not be successful(from the knowledge that I have). so a safer option is to use CAN. |
