That might be the trouble. See my website; however, the v6 below makes me uncertain... If this would be the problem, FlashMagic would not connect to that chip anymore.

A customized version of Keil's FlashMON, not requiring any of the internal XRAM. Burned together with the bootloader into Block1 in factory. Manual to be find on SST's website (this chip is a relabelled SST chip, see my previous posts on this forum on this topic).

Never heard of bootloader v6 - NXP had v4 by default in the chips, v5 was offered through their website and v7 is on the FlashMagic website. Are these new, intact chips? How do you know it's v6?
