I might have troubled you all by not giving the details of SFRs.

The source code what i have given is from atmel. That is why it contains
code for 8bit as well as 16bit operations. i checked the complete program with single step in my trainer kit to ensure proper data transmission,i found what ever the data to be transmitted as per the datasheet, it is transmitting but when i execute the WRITE program the display is showing '01'ie., to ensure successful write operation.
Next when i execute the READ routine(from 8050) the display always shows '00'. This is because the D0 pin is always Zero. i noticed this during single step execution of SHIN routine.

Another fact is that i am using national semiconductor EEPROM(93C46N) insted of Atmel, does this affect the interface? because some companies add different features other than the basic features. I searched the data sheet for this chip but didnot get.

Earlier i tried to interface with I2C EEPROM 24c02, there also i faced problems then i swiched to 93c46.
