I noticed my LED driver ICs DM134B get hot during operation the problem with the 16 bitters is that they have to dissdapate twice as much power as the 8 bitters. For that reason we use only 8 bitters.
Make sure your Vled is the bare minimum ~3V for amber, the driver must dissipate the diferencce between Vf and Vled. did it again Vf the forward drop of the LED Vled, the voltage applied to the LED anodes. Erik |
