isn't so good.
Whenever Wavecom releases new firmware releases, they tend to do strange things with their Open-AT API. More advanced applications can seldom survive with just a recompile. It might of course depend on what modules and what API subsets that is used, but I have seen a lot of problems :( It might have matured a bit - the relevant project was started about 5-6 years ago, but whenever Wavecom has started to ship the modules with new firmware, code rework has been needed. |
