#157562 - SIM modules and wavecom Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have been contacting different manufacturers for a GSM modem to be used in our product, and tested different ones. As others have pointed out, wavecom ones are quite good but then are too expensive to be used in many aplications. I have tested different chinese products based on SIM300 and found them to be satisfactory. In India, these products are available for 70-80 USD, but then if you import them you will get it for half the price. Wavecom based products are available for 130-140 USD in India. |
