It's a shame - I like the Winbond device and am impressed by it. The extra four I/O on the 44-pin devices is invaluable to me.
e.g. NXP has devices with this as well. re "The extra I/O is invaluable" I have seen many designs that would have been better and cheaper using an 8 porter such as the SILabs f12x/f13x instead of a lot of "external I/O" Erik |
