#157840 - AC vs DC Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I use 15V AC power supply. There is polyswitch 0,3A/60V before the rectifier bridge on the device, so it is adequate, I think. When I shorted the output pins of the bridge to simulate the fault, the polyswitch didn't react and the fuse in the power supply was interrupted. When I used 12V DC and I shorted the pins, the polyswitch disconnect the circuit and everything was OK. I tried it many times and the power supply fuse was still OK.
So I don't understand that. I am not sure if the polyswitch behaves similarly in the AC/DC circuits... |
