Search this site for a state machine tutorial I did a long time ago. That code will show you a reasonable model for processing a bunch of input transitions "at the same time" while actually help you comprehend how one program can be structured to do many things at once. Of course the tradeoff is detectable input bandwidth.
All that said the code in that is in assembler but it's structure can be easily transcribed into C. Michael Karas |
