Dear Fellow,

A computer is being used for master after using a Rs232 to Rs485 convertor card and It is suppose to Master of all network.

Network has to be working for 24 hours, But some time when computer software trying to read terminal at any location, All the network get down. And after network failure, I have to reset the particular card at failed terminal manually. After reset mostly that card donot repeat the problem.(Means ...no hardware problem)

I have used two LEDs to check which card made a problem. These LEDs just toggled each other twice during the sending and receiving.

Why it is making all the network down,I suppose it should down only that particular card ??

Did you used this...?

PC--MAX232--MAX485/similiar--------Rs-485 network.

That's always trouble with PC software as master.

We must using this..
