#158808 - Thx
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Yes, I knew I had seen an Edit alternative somewhere before. But I didn't find it now, since I expected it to be a button, and not just plain text, without even an underscore, in the header. This forum should be a bit more "obvious" about clickable items.

No, I was not aware that the chips: VRS51L3074, VRS51L3174, VRS51L3072 and VRS51L2070 are basically identical.

But Ramtron do produce more than just microcontrollers. How do I know that the OP wasn't complaining about a problem debugging the use of a Ramtron Processor Companion or nonvolatile memory?

Too much information is seldom bad. Too little information is almost always bad. Most people who ask questions on forums has a problem because they have too little information to solve their problem.

And a problem isn't just a question of a chip. It is a question of a chip together with some other tools. Unless "Ramtron Versa Debugger" is a one-in-all SDK with known hardware, known debugger and known compiler and known sample code, then I would say that more information should be supplied.

If the problem is not with a specific example (best pointed out with a link) but with own code, then it's hopeless to help without project-specific information.
