#158878 - Ramtron, Ramtron...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
The general problem with Ramtron is their ignorance. I've sent several e-mails and got no response at all. I've called MCU support and only got answering machine...I would ditch the chip if it was me, but the customer insists on FRAM device and especially on-chip one, so there's no real alternative. So I am stucked to their semi-functional debugger. I've somehow managed to do something to two-three chips which I can programm, read back the code but the code simply won't execute. When I try to connect with debugger, it pops-up "JTAG error" message and shuts down.

The chip itself is a promising one with a lot of nice feats, but support is awfull...

P.S. By the way, I know how Erik Malund complains about Silabs "deviates" - he should look at Versa chips! Well, nothing except instuction set and basic registers is the same. Timers, interrupts, serial ports - everything is totally different and I don't mean names!
