#159157 - Don't want to fight a lawyer Responding to: ???'s previous message |
We (Tekmos) use the term "Two Wire Interface" because we don't want to get into a legal fight. I2C is a registered trademark of NXP.
On the other hand, I2C is rapidly passing into common usage, much like the word "Tri-State" which is a trademark of National Semiconductor, and "Aspirin" which was once owned by Bayer in the US, and is still owned by Bayer in many countries. |
