I autobaud with U, then I send commands via Hyperterminal such as:

:0100000307F5 (Full chip erase)
:010000020EEF (14.7456MHz osc.)
:0500000400003FFF01B8 (Blank check)

Then I select Transfer, Send Text File, and send the .Hex file.

Then:

:020000030400F7 (Erase boot vector and status byte)
:030000030601FCF7 (Program boot vector to FC)

Then reboot and it works great. This isn't how I want to do it of course, but it was a step in getting it working. Now I have Flash Magic working, but only at 9600.
