#16234 - RE: 89C51RX2 ISP duh |
keeping the hex interface is the easiest thing to do.
we started off simply replacing the philips isp tool because we got tired of initializing it everytime. then we realized that we could make our utility paint the flash memory with other markers such as calibrations, serial numbers, customer IDs, encryption blocks etc without bothering the compilation. we could have used a monitor interface for loading those blocks, but we particularly liked to serial number being assigned each time a micro in production was isp programmed. it helped with tracking manufacturing. duh |
