Will Keil tolerate having pointers to different arrays hold the same value? Will Keil assign pointer values to separate DPTR's co it can capitalize on autoincrement/autodecrement capabilities? What about DPTR swapping?

Several 805x's have multiple DPTR's and one core about which I recently posted can have many DPTR's with those features. I can't imagine KEIL having features to support things like that. When I last checked, the support guy didn't even know the Dallas parts had those features. He also insisted that it was impossible to calculate the execution time of a given set of code. Oddly enough, I do it every day.

That, primarily, but among other things, is why I don't use KEIL products.
