Hi Duh,
yes I know, C programmers like reentrant functions. It looks interesting, if a function was called by itself. But mostly this was no parallel execution in real. The first pass was finished and the next pass was executed until the end condition was detected. So such functions can also easy be rewritten as simple loops. And on the 8051 this was more effective.
