I THINK THIS IS THE ANSWER IM LOOKING FOR. :( Why sad? Most 16-bit CRC uses one of two polynomials. 2 polynomials * two data directions * two pre-conditionings * two post-conditionings = 16 probable 16-bit CRC alternatives to test. Should not take long to test them. By the way - you still haven't mentioned brand and model of the equipment. |
