I read much of the discussion mainly on 8052.com before
posting. After all the reading, I was not clear about what we were doing differently. There were lots of things we tried that I did not mention in my first post at flashmagictool.com for fear that people may not read such a long mail. We tried the RC reset circuit way too, though experts here are advising against it. There was one thing we did not try --- using the MCP101 instead of the MAX232L, though I do not know how that will help. That is mentioned here: http://www.8052.com/forum/read/151338 Thank you. |
