When I said T1, I am talking about a T1 circit in the telephony world. It is a 1.54 meg pipe that is devided to 24 time slots. There are interface chips that will take care of the timing, but I will need a processor to move one time slot to another. An example would be T1-0 time slot 1 toT1-1 time slot 5. This is common in CO switches on a much larger scale. I need to only handel a 4 T1 circuits and wanted to try to do it myself.
