I use a simple terminal program to download without any problems.

But there is a bug in the download routine:
The hex-files must be beautified in this way, that only 16 bytes per record and no new flash page (every 128 bytes boundary) was programmed inside the same record.

E.g. on a 20MHz crystal I use 9600 baud.
