#175144 - high current output SSR or opto |
Hi all,
I am trying to locate a TTL control (up to 50mA control current) solid state relay with a continuous load rating of at least 4 amps at 12VDC. It needs to be able to chop a nice square wave at speeds up to 300 Hz and shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I have located the SSR's to do it but at $39 each times two, they are not a cheap solution. I am far from an expert but I was initially thinking of using a 4N25 and an OPA541 high power op amp but the rub is that it needs to be normally closed for this application and the price is a little steep... Any thoughts on how to do this cheaper? Your advice is greatly appreciated. Brian |
