I do not see a degradation in the answers; however I see a degrading of the ability to search. The "how to convert hex to decimal" has been asked 5 times this month.
If you check the "real" questions, you will see some quality answers.
Also a some postings this month have a last entry of "can you be more specific abaout what you are asking" which hardly reflect unwillingness to answer. It is easy to criticize that no one can answer "my project does not work".
Also if the posters would ask questions reflecting a specific problem, not "I want to dispaly serial data on a lcd panel how do I do that" which is kind of asking someone else to do their homework, there is no simple answer but to send complete code.
Please understand that most of us do not own our code and thus can not give it away, it is produced against payment for companies. And as you see in the "for sale" postings even some amateurs will not give code away.
