FTDI offers a whole bunch of "cables" and modules, based on their USB chips; quite a few of them might be a basis of such universal daughterboard.
One of the latest is http://www.ftdichip.com/Products/...B9-USB.htm , a quite bizarre module to be used to convert already produced RS232-based products to USB. JW |
