I use Protel 98, I was thinking of upgrading to 99SE (used it at a place I worked for)

I am sticking with 98 untill they (if they ever do) release a unix version. But Protel have already said no unix, they are focusing on pheonix (new version) which is due for release Q2,02 IIRC.

Being a samll business, I do not have $$$$$$$ to throw away on upgrades, and their new gimics do not impress me ie buying out tasking.

I find as I think Danny said, Autorouting (unless laying out banks of memory or a backplane for 64 euro connectors) a waste of time, it can usually only route 90%, and then screws up so bad that you have to start from scratch to get the last 10% routed.
