Hi all,
Kindly correct me. 1.for every physical link you have to calculate cable length according to bit rate and impedence. 2.RS-232 Uart is the actual communicator. 3. RS-485 only converts RS-232 for longer distances. 4. There is no protocol as such for RS-485. (like for RS232 or I2C) 5. For using RS-485 with 8052, we only have to code as usual for serial and use RS-485 interface/converter chips. Thanks a lot. Simon |
