Rather than discussing port pins I emplore those of you that have such basic questions to read the 80C51_FAM.. documents. They are at http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/products/...other.html.
Not posessing the knowledge found in these documents will lead to other (possibly costly) mistakes. I do thus emplore those of you that do not understand things like 'port pins as input' to gain the wisdom found in these 3 documents. Read the manual, then Have fun, Erik |
