I have looked over your interrupt routine and you are not clearing the interrupt bit Ti. Until you do your program will constantly execute the interrupt routine and do very little else. My understanding of the SCON SFR is that Ti and Ri can only be cleared by your software. Hardware will not clear these two flags.
