#19573 - RE: To Do List for simulator, Craig: |
Are "stimulus" files essentially "input files" that allow you to cause certain things to happen at certain times? I.e., raise/lower an I/O line at certain times, feed data into the serial port at certain times, etc.?
If so, I definitely want to do that and have been meaning to for some time. As for an API so that third-parties could write modules that would enhance the simulator itself, I may do that. I didn't do it in previous and current versions because I was in no way sure that anyone would actually do that so I didn't want to spend too much time on a feature that might not even be used. But I agree that it's a good idea as long as someone were to put it to use. Craig Steiner |
