#19591 - RE: Tiny BASIC on a DS89C420 (A2 eng sample) |
While you are crafting your autobaud routine you might just hardwire in a bit rate for testing. [end quote] How? I've tried to reverse engineer the baudrate detection routine (line 1070 or thereabouts) and change the baudrate, but I can't work out where it stores the baudrate, so I can't just cut out the detection routine and replace it with a "MOV TH1, #254"... Someone mentioned hacking the baudrate detector out of BASIC51, but I can't remember who. Anyone care to tell me how I can do this (i.e. which lines to modify and to what)? BTW, I've been using Metalink Assembler, but I've also been using ASEM-51 to compile BASIC51 (assembles BASIC51 without any errors - grab ASEM5112.ZIP from ftp.armory.com/pub/user/rstevew/8051). Thanks again. Phil. |
