I've used the IAR Embedded Workbench now for about five years, it works fine and I've had great tech support (e-mail). Their tech support people are stable too, at least here in the U.S. -- I've been dealing with the same guy the whole time.

I was not involved in the choice of IAR however, it was chosen by my predecessor. Like Keil, it ain't cheap.
