#20822 - First Simple 8051 Project a failure? |
I'm having a bit of a problem with my first 8051 project. It consists of the standard 8031-74LS373-EEPROM connection. None of the simple test programs that flash or turn on a buffered LED connected to P1.0 I've written or copied from books have failed.
I'm kinda stumped, but I think it's my hardware. 1. I know my EEPROM is programmed correctly. 2. I'm pretty sure my wiring is correct. 3. My clock and reset circuits appear to be working fine. However, when I test the ALE pin, it cycles from 0 to 1 and then suddenly stops, either high or low at a random period. (Until I reset.) Any clues to guide me in the right direction? - TS |
