I think I might be in the same boat as you, Tony, and so did someone else here last month. But their problem may have been tied to using the wrong latch.
I have a similar configuration as you. 8031 @ 16 MHz with a 16 MHz ceramic resonator 74LS373 Latch AT28C17 EEPROM My /PSEN signal (sent to the /OE pin on my ROM) is fairly smooth, but my ALE flickers something fierce! It's very chaotic. |
