------------------------------- Carlos, What part are you using? What xtal/osc. source are you using? What voltage are you running at? External Mem=XK, what technology? ALE failing is a bad sign unless the part jumps to an internal memory store and stays there in a loop. Or enters "power down" regards, p Phillip, I'm using a Temic IP-80C32-25, with a Dale XO-43B 16.000MHz clock oscillator connected to pin 19 (X1). Pin 18 (X2) is grounded. Everything is powered by a +5v supply. I'm using 32K out of a 64K SRAM (AS5C2568) and 32K out of 128K EEPROM (AS58C1001). I have been using an emmulator from Metalink to debug my code, and I've had no problems like this before. I even used the emmulator with my boards clock and had no problem. I'm not really doing anything with PCON in my code. I don't even have that line in it... |
