Hello everybody,

i am working on a project, for a digital dimmer system. At the moment i use a 80C535 with 16MHz. I receive data with 250KBaud. My problem is that the main program, that runs in an endless loop, gets bigger and also slower. Can anybody with more 8051 experience tell me, if the job is too much for only one 8051. My idea was that one 8051 receice only the data, and a second does the other work.
